Anita Briem and Anisa Butt

Anita Briem has been an actor from Iceland for nearly 20 years. She is most well-known as the actress who appeared as Jane Seymour in the TV series The Tudors. Briem's acting career began in the National Theater Iceland when she was nine years old. As a kid, she was an actor in Iceland, participating in radio and television plays. Briem moved from Iceland to London aged 16 and was a part of a theater production called Lenin's Love. After turning 19, Briem was accepted at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, where she studied for three years and where she obtained a diploma in dramatics as well as the John Barton Prize in the category of Scenic Fight. The Cherry Garden (Anton Chekhov) as well as Bernarda Alba's house in the play by Federico Garcia Lorca were among the many plays he took part in while at RADA.
