Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor who is well-known for his part in the well-known television series Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. Since his college days, Meloni was interested in the field of acting. After that, he attended the University of Colorado at Boulder. Although he's been in films and in television shows but it's the actors portrayed in small screen that have given him popularity. He is able to portray characters of both the bad and good sides in the law enforcement system. He has the ability to draw the attention of viewers effortlessly. He played the part of a serial killer in his debut television show and then went on to portray the character of an NYPD detective. For his performances on small screens, he's been awarded numerous nominations for the prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. His signature striking blue eyes that have been said to make him look handsome. They have helped to portray tough characters in a charming manner. He was listed in People's magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
