Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor, best famous for his role on the well-known television series Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. He identified his interest towards acting from his days in college and studied acting in The University of Colorado at Boulder. His television characters are gaining him lots of recognition. He has the ability to portray both characters from the side of the police as well as the other. This is the reason that makes him so popular. The first show he worked on was a television show, and later, he played an officer for the NYPD. For his work on the small screen, he's been up for nomination many times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards. He is famous for his blue-piercing eyes, which have become a signature and helped portray tough characters with charisma. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
